Role description
Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.
Science Teacher
Full-time, ongoing position, commencing as soon as possible or by mutual agreement
The College seeks to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher with an ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 Science. Specific expertise, experience and competence in teaching the Stage 6 Biology and/or Chemistry courses would be highly regarded. The successful applicant will be a qualified and committed educator. A demonstrated capacity to embrace the college’s Learning Framework and a collegial & collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential. Applications from early career teachers are also welcomed.
The College operates a Boarding and Extended day program for all students. As such, further opportunities beyond a teaching role may be available.
