Role description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and student-focused teacher to join our secondary team, with a teaching focus across Years 7-10 English, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, inclusive education practices, and building positive relationships with students, staff and families. Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum for Years 7-10 English, HASS and EIF.
- Differentiate curriculum and learning experiences to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Use evidence-informed teaching strategies to improve student achievement, engagement and literacy outcomes.
- Establish positive and inclusive classroom environments that promote high expectations and respectful relationships.
- Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and families.
