Role description


This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

The Role

As a Cleaner you would work under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge or the Senior Cleaner in Charge. You would be responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks like dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties involve activities such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure cleaning verandas and be responsible for reporting faults, maintenance issues, and incidents to the designated supervisor while ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.
