Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Inglewood Primary School (PS) is a proud Independent Public School providing a unique and vibrant educational environment for our 655 Kindergarten to Year 6 students. Our school Vision- Together we nurture inspired, curious and confident learners, reflects our strong focus on high expectations and the positive engagement with families, the School Board and P&C. Inglewood PS operates across three sites, with separate off-site centres for Kindergarten, Pre-primary and Years 1 to 6. All sites work closely, with strong collaboration, open communication and a shared understanding of how to ensure every child can achieve their potential.

The Role

Ideally, we are seeking strategic and relational leaders who show exceptional knowledge and expertise in implementing research and evidence-based rich approaches to teaching and learning. Suitable applicants will ideally display deep understanding of contemporary curriculum and pedagogical practices and will be able to build staff capacity across the breadth of the curriculum. A strong knowledge of evidence-based curriculum, instructional practices and data analysis is required.
