About the role
ICT Systems Network Administrator
Full Time | Ongoing
Damascus College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated ICT Systems & Network Administrator to play a critical role in the design, security and performance of the College’s ICT infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical position offering variety, challenge and the opportunity to lead and influence a modern, future-focused technology environment.
As the ICT Systems & Network Administrator you will provide Level 3 technical expertise across network infrastructure, server environments and cloud services. Working closely with the ICT Manager and Service Desk team, you will ensure systems are reliable, secure and optimised to support teaching, learning and College operations.
This role offers a diverse and high-impact opportunity to lead infrastructure initiatives, strengthen cybersecurity practices and drive continuous improvement across the College’s ICT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN)
- Administer servers, storage and cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Monitor system performance and proactively maintain infrastructure health and availability
- Lead cybersecurity operations including threat monitoring, access control and incident response
- Manage endpoint environments (SCCM, Intune, Autopilot) and maintain the Standard Operating Environment
- Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA and identity management systems
