About the role

ICT Service Desk Officer
Full Time | Ongoing

Damascus College is seeking a proactive and customer-focused ICT Service Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for technical support across the College. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering variety, challenge and the opportunity to make a real impact.

As ICT Service Desk Officer, you will deliver both Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support, ensuring a responsive and reliable service experience. Working across classrooms, offices and learning spaces, you will play a key role in keeping systems running smoothly and enabling a modern, student-centred technology environment.

This role offers a diverse and hands-on opportunity to deliver frontline ICT support while contributing to continuous improvement, innovation, and a high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ICT support via service desk, phone, email and in person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and system issues
  • Support device setup, deployment and lifecycle management
  • Assist with Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID and endpoint management (Intune/SCCM)
  • Deliver in-class and on-site support to minimise disruption to learning
  • Provide basic AV support for events and presentations
  • Contribute to documentation, asset management and service improvements
  • Support cyber safety practices and secure use of ICT
