Role description

The Opportunity

Our Lady of the Visitation School offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team in delivering professional and high quality support across our site.  Working in a small team, you will provide support in the key areas of:

  • front office and reception
  • enrolments (school resgistrar)
  • compliance and screening
  • employee and student records
  • school operations and planning
  • professional administrative support to the Principal

About You

We are seeking someone who has strong customer-service skills, positive interpersonal communication and a consistent commitment to the school’s vision and mission.  A calm, professional approach is essential, particularly during busy periods.  The Front Office and Administration team plays a vital part in creating a warm, organised, and supportive environment for students, families, staff and visitors.  This role requires a demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality as well as an ability to work under moderate direction and be responsible for outcomes within broad parameters.  Strong organisational and communication skills are essential to the role.

Experience with Microsoft, SEQTA, CIVICA and past work in schools is desirable.
