Role description

St Patrick’s School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to join our vibrant R–6 learning community. This key role supports the promotion of our school through high‑quality communication, event coordination, and community engagement.

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media and website updates, supporting enrolment promotion, and coordinating whole‑school events that showcase the life and values of St Patrick’s. The successful applicant will work closely with the Principal and staff to ensure consistent, positive, and professional communication across all platforms.

This role is a part-time, contracted position working 15 hours per week until the end of the 2026 School year.  

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication, writing, and digital content‑creation skills
  • Experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related field
  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and families
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Creativity, initiative, and a commitment to promoting our school community
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Marketing or Communications) of at least 2 years of study and/or demonstrated experience in a comparable role. Experience working in the Education sector is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with social media management, photography, videography, and basic graphic design tools.
