Position Details
St Augustine’s Primary School, Rivervale is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Kindy Education Assistant. St Augustine’s Primary School, Rivervale is a co-educational, single stream school from Kindergarten to Year Six located approximately 5km from the Perth CBD. The school enjoys a close relationship with the Parish and strong support from the parent community.
Our Kindy days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Selection Criteria
We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic person who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional desire to:
• understand and support the Catholic tradition and ethos of our school
• work professionally, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators
• support the teacher and our school to deliver a quality learning program for all students
• consistently demonstrate excellent communication skills
• be a proactive contributor within our community - willing to share ideas, time and expertise for the good of all
• demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with staff and students and families.
Qualifications Required
• Either holding or actively working towards a Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. This may also include actively working towards the pre-requisite course to the Diploma which is the Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Accreditation to Work In A Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).
