Facilities Manager

Selection Criteria

1:  Demonstrate high-level capacity to develop, coordinate, lead, implement and monitor school improvement plans and maintenance schedules focusing on ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.

2: Demonstrate the ability to manage the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) responsibilities ensuring compliance.

3: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a small maintenance team, including the capacity to collaborate effectively with the Leadership Team and manage Contractors and External Agencies (EG VSBA) while fostering a safe, effective and collaborative work environment.

4: Demonstrated technical knowledge in relation to Department of Education platforms and School related systems including AIMS and Edu Safe Plus, SAMS4SCHOOLS, Teams.

5: Demonstrate organisational skills, including workloads and maintaining accurate records and systems.

6: Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a multi-site maintenance function, including supervising staff, prioritising works, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
