Position Information
Kelso Public School's teachers and support staff are committed to quality teaching and creating positive, engaging learning environments. The school culture of Success through Excellence, Opportunity and Belonging allows students to engage in a broad range of activities. The school has an enrolment of 365 students and is inclusive of 153 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, 14 Languages other than English and 100 students with disabilities. We currently have 12 mainstream classes, 10 inclusive education classes, and an Early Intervention class. The diverse needs of our students are met by the employment of additional specialist staff and through partnerships with the local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group, Parents and Citizens association, and other community agencies.
