Position Information
Walgett Community College Primary School (WCCPS) is a P-6 school with an enrolment of 99% Aboriginal students, approximately 130 students K-6 and up to 20 children per session in preschool. Walgett has a population of approximately 2300 and is situated in a remote rural context approximately 280 kilometres north of Dubbo beside the Namoi and Barwon rivers.
The school is part of the Connected Communities strategy and is committed to providing a high-quality education for all students through a diverse, relevant curriculum focusing on literacy, numeracy with strong student and community engagement.
