Replacement Teacher - Physical Education Specialist

St Gabriel's School is looking for a passionate and energetic Physical Education Specialist who thrives on inspiring students to lead active, healthy lifestyles. We’re seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physical Education Specialist Teacher to lead our Physical Education and Sports Program with creativity, leadership, and enthusiasm.

This is a one year replacement contract. Whilst this position is a Physical Education Specialist, the substantive role is Classroom Teacher.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons and events that foster skill development, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity.
• Coordinating the school’s PE curriculum and ensuring alignment with educational outcomes.
• Organising and managing SAPSASA, SACPSSA, or other, teams and events, including attending competitions and supporting student participation.
• Leading a range of co-curricular and after-school sports programs, introducing new and exciting activities to boost student involvement.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the planning and delivery of high-quality Physical Education experiences across year levels.
• Building strong partnerships with students, staff, families, and the wider community to promote active, healthy living.
