ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – ATTENDANCE OFFICER

Position Details


Clontarf Aboriginal College is a co-educational Catholic secondary boarding school for First Nations students in Years 7–12, located in Waterford, WA. In the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice, the College is a place of learning and understanding that respects and celebrates Aboriginal culture and spirituality. The College is committed to nurturing and empowering people so they may contribute positively to their communities.

We are looking for a suitably experienced Attendance Officer to join our Administration Team commencing Term 3, 2026 or as negotiated. This position is responsible for overseeing the College’s attendance procedures, ensuring that accurate records are maintained as well as administering first aid.  The role also provides general administration assistance.

Selection Criteria

Essential:
- Experience in attendance management and school administration.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with students, families and staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
- Effective word processing and data entry skills, with experience in or willingness to learn AOS, SEQTA and Office 365.
- Flexibility to undertake a variety of tasks within a school office.
- Ability to assist with the general health and wellbeing of students, including first aid.
- Support for the Catholic ethos of the College.
