Position: Secondary Teacher, St Patrick's College
Start date: Term 3, 2026
Employment Status: Full-Time contract
Salary:$86,600 - $147,048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What we are looking for:
Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of St Patrick's College, Mackay. This is a full-time contract position to commence Term 3, 2026 until 17 January 2027 or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
We welcome applications from registered teachers who can teach in any or a combination of subjects.
The successful applicant requires excellent people skills, a capacity to work as a part of a team, and the willingness to support students, staff and parents of the school.

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton
