Role description
Indulkana Anangu School is located on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north of South Australia. Following our school values of kunpu (strong), wanganara (respectful), and arkara (try your best), we provide education for children and young people living in Indulkana community.
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join our committed team of educators. The successful applicant will work alongside an Anangu Educator to deliver high-quality, bilingual learning using the Department for Education Phonics Scope and Sequence and the Australian Curriculum. The ideal candidate will have high expectations, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering culturally responsive education to Anangu students. Iwantja Arts Centre, located in the community, offers beautiful art pieces and stories to explore. Indulkana is well-resourced and includes a community store and health clinic, with its proximity of approximately 50 km to Marla, situated just off the Stuart Highway.
