About the Role
Meekatharra District High School, a K – 12 school, is seeking an innovative and dedicated leader for the role of Principal.
The school serves a community of approximately 100 students and their families within a caring and supportive environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a school culture that promotes positive relationships between students and staff, whilst engaging parents and the wider community in the educational work of the school.
As the principal, you will work to ensure teachers are supported to create learning environments that promote the academic progress and achievement of every student. You will be an instructional leader with an understanding of current practices to continue the focus on high impact teaching and evidence-based practice. Proven experience in setting the optimal conditions for teachers to cater to students with diverse learning needs through data informed practice is highly desirable.
The principal is responsible for using innovation and creativity to establish systems and structures fostering academic achievement to nurture the social and emotional development of students, whilst engaging the school community within educational programs of the school.
