Education Support Officer - Curriculum

Xavier College is seeking enthusiastic Education Support Officers - Curriculum (ESO) to join our Two Wells (R–11) campus. As an ESO Curriculum, you will work closely with teaching staff in supporting students’ diverse educational needs in the classroom.

This is a casual position, with working hours between Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.00pm.

As ESO – Curriculum, you will:

• Assist students individually and in small groups, supporting their overall learning experience under teacher direction.
• Support the implementation of structured learning programs using pre-prepared resources.
• Supervise and support students with identified additional needs in accordance with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on learning or behavioural needs.
• Assist teachers with supervision during excursions, sports, school events, and yard duty, as required.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and the College community.
• Assist students with additional needs, including personal care, where required.
• Support general classroom operations, including preparation of materials and administrative tasks.

What you need to be successful

• A Certificate III in Education Support (or equivalent) and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in a comparable role
