Primary objectiveThe Program Consultant contributes to the design, delivery and management of VET programs, grants, contracts, and partnerships that support workforce development and improved employment outcomes in the Northern Territory, providing accurate advice and working collaboratively with stakeholders within policy and legislative frameworks.Key duties and responsibilities
- Research and develop tailored skilling programs in response to industry and community needs to improve employment outcomes.
- Manage skilling programs and contracts that allocate funds to support the achievement of Northern Territory skilling priorities and objectives.
- Provide accurate information and advice to stakeholders, including Registered Training Organisations and industry organisations to ensure successful initiative outcomes.
- Monitor and audit the performance of providers against program objectives and outcomes to ensure compliance and delivery.
