St Patrick’s Marist College is seeking two passionate and dedicated Science Teachers to join our vibrant learning community. One position is available for an immediate start, with the second commencing in Term 3.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience teaching Stage 6 Science subjects. The ability to teach Biology, Investigating Science, or Physics will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will fit the following criteria:
Have a thorough knowledge of the Junior Science/Investigating Science curriculum
Demonstrates proficiency in explicit teaching and learning approaches
Extensive pedagogical knowledge base and understanding of how Science is learned, what affects students’ opportunities to learn Science and how the learning and teaching of the subject matter can be enhanced
Understanding how to differentiate learning to cater for student needs in order to maximise student learning
Sound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback
