About Our School

Eileen O'Connor Catholic College Lewisham is a co-educational K-12 College for students with mild and moderate intellectual disability as well as other complex learning needs. The College has built a strong reputation for the care and education of students and provides families from all over Sydney with a Catholic option for their child with additional needs. The College provides a supportive learning environment that embraces the use of technology and personalised learning that will prepare students for their future.

The college offers small class settings (5-6 students) where Classroom Teachers work collaboratively with a Learning Support Officer. Self care needs such as toileting and feeding are an important aspect of the Learning Support Officer role for our students.
