Selection Criteria

Applicant must display and have demonstrated:

 

  • Ability to align network infrastructure with teaching and learning initiatives, providing high-level leadership in deploying scalable systems that support technical innovation and staff confidence in technology.

  • Capacity to accurately monitor network traffic, analyse usage patterns, and perform capacity planning to inform strategic school spending and infrastructure investment.

  • Management of enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, RADIUS, and NAC solutions to ensure robust network security.

  • Experience in leading major network deployments and continuous improvement cycles, with a commitment to both personal professional development & mentoring peers in emerging technologies and changes.

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills, focused on managing complex technical environments to provide a seamless, high-performance foundation for the improvement of teaching, learning & school functions.


 

Role

This position is full time with 4 weeks of annual leave per year.

 

Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions.  Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations.
