This is a unique opportunity to help build one of Victoria's great schools from the ground up.

Narrarrang Primary School opened in Term 1, 2026, located on Smith Street in Port Melbourne (3207). It serves the growing inner-city neighbourhood of Fishermans Bend, providing high-quality education for students from Prep to Year 6, with a long-term enrolment capacity of up to 650 students.

The school has been purposefully designed with flexible, inclusive learning environments. Facilities include collaborative learning spaces, multiple play areas, a playing field, and outdoor areas that promote wellbeing and exploration. Select school facilities will also be available for shared community use outside of school hours.

The Role

We're seeking a passionate PE teacher to help establish our learning culture and amplify our PE program with a culture of high expectations and deep care, where everyone is seen, know, and valued, and where learning is purposeful, rigorous, and joyful. The role is currently fixed term part time with the potential to grow as the school grows. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with students, families and colleagues, and bringing our vision and values to life.
