Selection Criteria

SC 1   Demonstrated experience in Finance with specific regard to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process. 

SC 2   Sound knowledge of Department of Education Victoria Financial policies, guidelines and practices, including the capacity to produce reports and provide advice in respect to those reports.

SC 3   Demonstrated high level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively, effectively and sensitively with all members of the school community, ensuring confidentiality is maintained where applicable.

SC 4   Proven ability to work independently, flexibly and constructively as part of team within a busy work environment, with the added ability to contribute as a positive staff member to the college.

SC 6   Demonstrate a commitment to professional learning and growth relating to your role and in line with the school's vision.

SC 7   Demonstrated ability to actively promote the safety and wellbeing of all children in line with the Child Safe Standards.

Role

The role reports to the Business Manager, and is advertised as fulltime, Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 4:06pm daily. The tenure is fixed term for one year, commencing 25 May 2026 and concluding on 28 May 2027. Recall days (up to 3 days) will apply prior to the commencement of term 1. Salary is in line with the VGSA2022 Education Support Salaries, Level 1, Range 3 (ES1-3) commencing at $73,467 per annum. Higher duties to ES1-4 level may apply depending on experience and with negotiations with the Business Manager.
