St Columba’s College is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Finance Officer (Payroll and Accounts Payable) to join our Accounts Office and play a key role in supporting the College’s financial operations. This is a part time (0.6FTE) ongoing position.

This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant payroll and accounts payable services, while providing responsive support to staff and suppliers in a collaborative school environment.

As the Finance Officer (Payroll and Accounts Payable) your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver accurate and timely fortnightly payroll, including onboarding, variations and leave processing
  • Maintain payroll integrity through reporting, reconciliations, compliance and end-of-year processes
  • Manage payroll obligations including superannuation, taxation and employee leave balances
  • Process supplier invoices and payments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and strong financial control
