Education Support Officer (Inclusion)

Permanent Part Time 3 Days | 16.5 hours per week

41 weeks per year working during school terms

We are seeking experienced Inclusive Education Support Officer to join our Primary Campus (Reception – Year 6). The successful candidate will work in partnership with teachers to provide educational services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist student learning under the supervision of a teacher.
• Assist teachers in preparing, implementing and supervising classrooms and/or intervention programs.
• With teachers approval, apply personal knowledge and initiative to suggest modifications to educational programs to meet the learning needs of specific students.
• Supervise and care for students with formally identified special needs in accordance with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
• Assist with identifying student learning or behaviour challenges.
• Actively participate in school activities, events, staff and team meetings, required training, professional development and professional reviews.
