Position Details
Santa Clara School is seeking a passionate and innovative Upper Primary Science Teacher (Years 3–6) who inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. The successful applicant will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Science programs that integrate technology and design thinking, fostering critical and creative thinkers within a faith-filled learning community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and monitor student progress and achievement.
• Ensure safe and responsible use of equipment, materials, and digital technologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular opportunities and whole-school initiatives.
• Contribute to the Catholic ethos and faith life of the school community.
Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated expertise in teaching Primary Science (Years 3–6), with the ability to design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
2. Proven capacity to integrate technology and design thinking into classroom practice, enhancing student engagement and supporting innovative STEM learning.
3. Ability to create dynamic and inclusive learning environments that foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and active student participation.
