This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026

Piara Waters Senior High School is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25kms south of Perth. The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 cohorts. Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The Role

The successful applicant would have the knowledge and skills necessary to apply a range of high-impact, engaging teaching strategies and develop a positive classroom learning environment in specialist built facilities.  In addition, the successful applicant should display an understanding of aviation concepts, practices, and/or industry standards relevant to teaching aviation studies, with a focus on applied learning and clear pathways into further training, employment and tertiary study.

You would design and deliver lessons that connect aviation theory with real-world practice, supporting students to develop technical knowledge, problem solving skills, safety awareness and an understanding of industry.
