This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026
Busselton Senior High School (SHS) is seeking dedicated Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer (AIEO) to join their team.

The Role
The AIEO play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our Indigenous students. As a liaison between the school and community, the AIEO works closely with teachers, students and families to develop culturally relevant educational programs that empower our Indigenous students to reach their full potential.
Through mentoring and pastoral care, the AIEO provides support and guidance to Indigenous students, particularly those at risk, to encourage participation and achievement at school. With a deep understanding of Indigenous culture and history, the AIEO brings a unique perspective to the school community, promoting respect, understanding and harmony.
