Lead excellence in teaching and learning
South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking an outstanding and experienced educational leader to join our Secondary School as Deputy Head of Secondary - Teaching and Learning.
This key leadership role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to high quality teaching practice, strong curriculum design, and equipping staff to deliver impactful learning experiences within a supportive Christian school community.

About the role
Working closely with the Head of Secondary, Deputy Leaders, and the Curriculum Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across teaching and learning in the Secondary School. You will lead the Heads of Learning Area team, support staff development, and drive data informed improvement, while maintaining a small teaching load.
You will also contribute to curriculum development, assessment quality, student support processes, and the effective use of Compass across the Secondary School.
