Role description
We are seeing applications for an experienced and inspirational educational leader to join our leadership team at our Duncraig campus as Deputy Head of Primary (Years 3–6). This opportunity arises as the current Deputy Head transitions into a promotional executive role at another school, providing continuity while building on strong leadership and learning practices.
This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, operational oversight and relational leadership, with an expectation that the Deputy Head remains actively connected to classroom practice, professional learning and student outcomes.
The preferred commencement date is the start of Term 3, 2026, however, this is negotiable for the right candidate.
The Deputy Head of Primary has responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of Years 3–6, within a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 school model. Working closely with the Head of Campus and Primary leadership team, the successful candidate will continue to drive excellence in teaching, learning and student wellbeing, while supporting staff and contributing to whole-school initiatives.
