About Tasmania DECYP

Role description

About the Role

The Co-Location Pilot is intended to improve the timeliness and quality of the information shared between the family law courts (FLC) and state and territory agencies and to facilitate more collaborative inter- jurisdictional working arrangements. The placement of child protection and policing staff in the family court is intended to ensure the decision makers in the court have access to relevant information to support decision making to improve child and family safety.

As a CSO you will assist families exit formal engagement with Child safety and FLC systems in a safe and planned way. The role will be supervised by a Practice Leader and be part of a state-wide team working on specialist FLC reports and safety assessments to inform decision making in the court.

Location of this role is Launceston, Burnie or Devonport.
