Special Needs Teaching Assistant
St Joseph’s School Wyndham is seeking a suitably qualified special needs teaching assistant to become an integral part of our teaching team.
This role is offered on a 1.0FTE (full-time) basis. However, we strongly encourage applications from candidates seeking part-time arrangements, as job share options will be considered for the right applicants.

Selection Criteria
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills to assist in establishing and maintaining close working relationships with families, local community stakeholders and other networks.
- Show initiative, commitment, work independently, and contribute actively to a dynamic team environment and embrace the concept of continuous learning.
- Be prepared to participate in Co-curricular activities.
- Be competent users of basic IT.
- Model and maintain the Catholic ethos and traditions of the school.
- Maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
Qualifications Required
- Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
- Working with Children Check.
