Your RoleWe are seeking experienced applicants for the position of Technology Officer to provide service and support to the Western Region primary schools. This is a full-time continuing position (38hpw) for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant. This position will be based at St Brigid's Catholic Primary School, Emerald and travel to other Western region schools will be required from time to time.Typical duties performed include, but are not limited to:Practice confidentiality in relation to all aspects of the roleApply a range of technical and other skills to undertake tasks that may include:Assist with systems analysis and design in relation to the development and maintenance of ICT systems and servicesInvestigate malfunction in operational programs and services, and liaise with service owners to resolve, test and remediate issuesManage the installation and maintenance of IT services in the schoolMaintain a register of computer hardware and software including accurate information about the allocation of items to users or locationsProvide support and assistance to school leadership with developing the school budget in regard to IT, including device procurement, and technology related projects for the school and strategic plans to meet short and long term ICT goals of the school.For more information, please view the Position Description.
