Home Economics Assistant

We are seeking to establish a pool of Home Economics Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Home Economics Assistants will work under teacher direction to support the delivery of planned education programs, including assisting with individual or small group activities. Suitable applicants will assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment by organising equipment, resources and materials for practical classes, and ensuring clean and safe storage after use.
