Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs - Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027 Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Situated on Grandis Boulevard in Banksia Grove, our school includes five teaching blocks, an administration area, playgrounds, an undercover area, a library, a dental therapy centre, and five multi-purpose courts plus an oval which are shared with the City of Wanneroo.

We work closely with the local community to establish and build positive relationships. Grandis Primary School (GPS) Board and P&C are strong and proactive, providing our community with input into the direction that the school takes as we continue to grow towards the future.

The Role

Education Assistants are highly valued at our school and support the teaching and learning of students, through assisting the teacher in delivering planned education programs, with a particular focus on literacy, numeracy, play/ behaviour support and social skills.
