Role description
This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 2, Week 9 2026
Established in 1986, Ashburton Drive Primary School (PS) is located in the south eastern metropolitan suburb of Gosnells. The school is built on old farming land and is next door to an abundant wetlands. The current student enrolment is around 420 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Role
As a Deputy Principal, you will ideally apply your professional knowledge and understanding to lead teaching and learning in the context of authentic integration of digital learning technologies. The ability to analyse data to inform teaching and learning and strong interpersonal skills when working with parents and stakeholders is highly desirable. The Deputy Principal should lead alongside the Connected Community team and collaborate with other admin to implement best practice utilising the teaching for impact suite of resources. As a school we provide the best possible education, ensuring all students develop a broad range of knowledge skills and values to adapt to a changing world.
The successful applicant will ideally have a strong understanding of, and practical experience in, applying restorative approaches to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). Familiarity with the Berry Street Education Model is desirable. Applicants with strong skills in managing student behaviour while supporting Teachers and Education Assistants in implementing effective strategies are highly regarded.
