Cleaner in Charge

This is a permanent part-time (0.75FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026.

West Beechboro Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public-School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school is culturally diverse and educates students from many backgrounds.

The Role

The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the school, including setting the security alarm system and conducting daily hand over with the Manager Corporate Services.

The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You would ideally be organised, reliable and punctual and have the ability to work well both individually and as part of a team, ideally you should possess excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
