Aintree Primary School is located on 3.5 hectares of land at 11 Timbertop Parade, Aintree 3336 (Local Government Area of Melton). The school opened for enrolments in F-6 year levels in Term 1, 2021. The school has a current enrolment of 1300 students which will continue to increase, with growth expected over the next 2-3 years.

The school belongs to the successful Brimbank/Melton Network of Schools which includes three other new Government schools alongside well-established and thriving schools across primary, secondary, Specialist, P-9 and Senior Secondary.

There is a Children and Community Hub adjacent to the school which houses Kindergarten, Maternal and Child Health and community facilities. Together Aintree Primary School and the Hub can help local children make a smooth transition from pre-school and reduce the number of drop-offs for some parents with kinder and school-aged children.
