Primary objectiveSupport the Project Manager, Directors and Executive Director with the development and delivery of vocational education and training projects through strategic coordination, advice, and analysis, contributing to departmental and Government objectives. Context statement
The Skills NT division is responsible for building a skilled and capable Northern Territory workforce by providing leadership, resources, and strategic oversight of vocational education and training (VET). As the Northern Territory’s state training authority, Skills NT provides stewardship of the Territory’s VET system, ensuring it meets local needs.
Through strong partnerships with schools, industry, community organisations, and registered training organisations, Skills NT supports access to high-quality training that leads to meaningful employment outcomes and responds to current and future workforce demand across the Territory.
