Primary objective
Special Education teachers play a crucial role in supporting students with disabilities, requiring specialised training and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments. Special Education teachers work with students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities, with a range of primary responsibilities of creating Inclusive Learning Environments to design and implement school support plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Special Education teachers are a pivotal member of the school community, they provide instructions in academic subjects while also addressing social and behavioural skills, helping students develop self-advocacy and problem-solving skills.
