About the Opportunity
Marian Catholic College, Kenthurst, is seeking a reliable and practical TAS Workshop Assistant to support the Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Key Learning Area. This is a part-time position (12 hours per week), with days and hours to be negotiated to meet the needs of the College and the successful applicant.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and supporting student learning by ensuring workshops and learning spaces are safe, organised, and well-resourced.

Key Responsibilities
The TAS Workshop Assistant will work closely with TAS teachers and staff to support the effective operation of workshops and other TAS learning areas.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
● Assisting TAS teachers in workshops and other designated areas
● Safe operation and use of power tools and workshop equipment
● Preparing, maintaining, cleaning, and organising workshop spaces
● Organising resources and materials, including stocktakes and inventory management
● Supporting safe work practices and compliance with WHS requirements
● Completing all mandatory CSPD training, including but not limited to Work Health and Safety (WHS) training in a timely manner
● Undertaking general duties as requested to support the TAS KLA
