About the Role
The Mission and Identity Partner: Religious Education (Network K-12) - Primary Focus works collaboratively within the Religious Education Team. The role focuses on using education data to improve system outcomes and achieve excellence in primary religious education and curricular outcomes across schools and Networks.
The Mission & Identity Partner: Religious Education (Primary Focus) is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:
- working with the Supervisor: Religious Education (Primary) to develop a cohesive religious education plan for Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) networks and primary schools
- collaborating with Religious Education Coordinators and school leadership teams in building their capacity to lead and animate the mission and identity of the school
- mentoring and coaching Religious Education Coordinators to develop their capacity as leaders
- facilitating recruitment processes and assisting in the succession planning for religious leadership in schools
- undertaking statistical analysis utilising system, school and network data, demographics, and other key information to prepare reports on religious education and student outcomes
- undertaking internal and external research into contemporary educational pedagogies, emerging educational theories and national and international trends in religious education
