Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Student Support Directorate as Head of Student Wellbeing Delivery. This senior leadership role is central to ensuring high-quality, equitable and coordinated wellbeing support for students across our system.

 

Guided by the mission of the Catholic Church, this role leads system-wide approaches to identifying and responding to students’ psychosocial and additional learning needs, enabling all students to flourish within safe, inclusive learning environments!

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Student Support (or delegate), the Head of Student Wellbeing Delivery provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation and evaluation of student wellbeing and support services across CSPD.

You will lead the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and oversee intake, referrals, assessment, risk management and case management processes, working in close partnership with schools, internal teams and external agencies.

 

  • Lead system-wide wellbeing and student support services, including MTSS, screening, assessment, referrals, risk assessment and case management
  • Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary teams, including MTSS, Assessment, Inclusive Learning and Jarara Cultural Centre teams
  • Collaborate with school leaders, teachers and external partners to strengthen school-based wellbeing responses and care coordination
  • Lead data-informed decision-making to evaluate impact, guide resource allocation and inform system priorities
  • Establish and sustain partnerships with health, allied health and social service providers through Connected Catholic Communities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of risk assessment and case management platforms and processes
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, CSPD standards and child-safe practices
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement and the use of evidence-based practice in student wellbeing delivery
  • Contribute to strategic planning and system-wide initiatives aligned to the Diocesan pastoral vision

About you

You are a collaborative, values-driven leader with strong strategic capability and a deep understanding of student wellbeing in contemporary educational contexts. You bring:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area
  • Significant leadership experience in student wellbeing, education, health or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex systems, teams and change initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills
  • Expertise in data-informed practice, assessment frameworks and multi-disciplinary service delivery
  • A commitment to Catholic ethos, social justice and the dignity of every student
