Role description
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III and/or Diploma or higher), with current industry knowledge aligned to contemporary early childhood practices and frameworks.
- Recent and relevant experience working in early childhood education settings, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, child development, and best practice in education and care.
- Sound understanding of VET sector requirements, including Standards for RTOs, assessment validation, and principles of assessment and rules of evidence.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and student-centred training using a variety of delivery modes (face-to-face, online, blended).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse learners, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
Role
- Deliver and assess nationally recognised qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Support and mentor students through their learning journey
- Develop engaging training materials and assessment tools
- Ensure compliance with VET quality standards
Who May Apply
Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
