Role description

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III and/or Diploma or higher), with current industry knowledge aligned to contemporary early childhood practices and frameworks. 
  2. Recent and relevant experience working in early childhood education settings, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, child development, and best practice in education and care.
  3. Sound understanding of VET sector requirements, including Standards for RTOs, assessment validation, and principles of assessment and rules of evidence.
  4. Proven ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and student-centred training using a variety of delivery modes (face-to-face, online, blended).
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse learners, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.

  • Deliver and assess nationally recognised qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Support and mentor students through their learning journey
  • Develop engaging training materials and assessment tools
  • Ensure compliance with VET quality standards

Who May Apply

Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
