Selection Criteria

SC1.  Use examples to show how you have been able to perform duties specific to your workplace and position.

This could include coordinating and supporting others, building resources and undertaking specific duties relevant to your role.

SC2.  Explain how you have worked in a team environment, including being able to work and collaborate with others, adaptability and flexibility in respect to your roles & responsibilities.

SC3.  Give examples of your ability to communicate well, using high level oral and written communication skills, with all major stakeholders including colleagues, parents, students & external organisations.

SC4.  Demonstrate your capacity to reflect a sound work ethic and represent the values, character strengths and vision of the workplace.

SC5  Show your capacity to provide advice and support to management and other staff in respect to the workplace.

SC6  A commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others in both educational or other settings. 

Role

An education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
