Emerton Public School is a small K–6 primary school in Western Sydney with 224 students. The community is diverse, with many families from low socio-economic backgrounds. Around 20% of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and 48% come from an EAL/D background. The school also supports students with additional needs through two Multi-Categorical classes catering for 14 students.
