The Geelong College is seeking a well-qualified and passionate educator to join our Senior School Campus as a Teacher of Performing Arts: Dance and Drama (Years 7 - 10). The ability to contribute to VCE Theatre Studies is desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver dynamic and engaging Performing Arts programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum. The successful applicant will foster active and authentic learning, provide timely and meaningful feedback, and contribute to a collaborative teaching environment committed to continuous improvement and student achievement.
The successful applicant will contribute to the pastoral life of the College, participate in co-curricular programs, and actively support the Christian ethos of the School.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
- Relevant educational qualification and experience in a similar teaching role
- Current Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) registration
- Current Certifications in:
- First Aid (HLTAID011)
- CPR (HTLAID 009)
- Asthma Management
- Completion of either:
- The College's anaphylaxis training, or
- Accredited course: 22578VIC - Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
