Role description

Marist College Canberra is a Congregational Catholic school for boys (Year 4-12) operating as part of ‘Marist Schools Australia’. Marist College is seeking an energetic, highly skilled Teacher of Mathematics to join our dynamic and collegial Maths Department. The successful applicant will hold appropriate teaching qualifications and demonstrate experience in delivering Mathematics from Years 7–12. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and to the holistic development of every student. This is an ongoing, full-time position, with an immediate start available or a negotiated commencement date for the successful candidate.

Key Requirements

  • Accredited teaching qualifications in Mathematics
  • Experience teaching Mathematics across Years 7–12, including Specialist Mathematics or Mathematical Methods
  • Strong classroom practice and curriculum knowledge
  • Commitment to collaborative professional practice and ongoing improvement
  • Willingness to support the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College
