Position Information
William Rose School is a School for Specific Purposes in Western Sydney with 86 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. We have an explicit focus on individualised education for students with vision impairment, deaf/blind, sensory and moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, autism and complex behavioural needs, emotional disturbance and Autism. Fifty-six percent of students are identified EAL/D learners, and 9% are Aboriginal. The school is dedicated to delivering excellence in sensory and special education within an inclusive environment, supporting students to reach their full potential for future success. At William Rose, teachers work collaboratively with parents and carers to design and deliver high-quality, meaningful learning programs tailored to individual student needs, with a strong focus on understanding how each student learns.
